Jonny Depp - The Oscars 2008

So Jonny Depp still can't manage to clinch that Oscar. This could be down to the diversity of his characters, or diversity of his films. It seems these days the only films that win awards are period dramas, mystical capers, with fight scenes, or tragic emotional true stories.

This didn't come as too much of a dis-appointment as he says the nomination is honour enough, and that he does not relish the thought of getting up there in front of everyone and thanking them, and let's be honest...who would??

Jonny has had Oscar nominations for Pirates Of The Caribbean (2004), Finding Never Land (2005) and Sweeney Todd (2008).
